🥶 Can a little chill slow aging? A Nature study out Oct 21 found tiny C. elegans worms kept at 15°C lived about a third longer than at 20°C! 🪱 Their muscles make a molecule, BH2, that protects proteins body-wide, and boosting it extended life even without cold. In human cells, BH2 cut clumping of Huntington's and ALS-linked proteins. Worms, not people (yet)! #Science #Aging #Longevity
