โ€‹๐Ÿ“  Every photocopy traces back to 88 years ago tomorrow! On Oct 22, 1938, in a rented room above a bar in Astoria, Queens, Chester Carlson & Otto Kornei rubbed a sulfur-coated zinc plate with a handkerchief, flashed light through a slide reading "10-22-38 ASTORIA," dusted on powder... and the words appeared! Xerography was born. ๐Ÿคฏ #History #Xerox #Inventions #NYC
